Servant Leadership in the Wild

If you're like me, you often hear about servant leadership.

What might it really look like?

I was lucky enough to spot an excellent example in the wild!

While watching the changing of the royal guards at the palace in Stockholm, something went amiss. Can you see what it was?

Clearly, the officer noticed. And our man noticed - but what could he do?

Extraordinary.

Probably went unnoticed by most - but details matter!

Perfect fix made for a truly perfect performance.

What is Servant Leadership?

According to Wikipedia: it's a leadership philosophy in which the goal of the leader is to serve, putting the needs of the employees first and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible. Instead of the people working to serve the leader, the leader exists to serve the people.

We at Breaking Impossible salute this example, and strive to put it into play every day!
